National Historic
Trails Center
The new 25,000 square foot National
Historic Trails Center overlooking the Platte River tells a story as big as the West. Visitors
to Casper, Wyoming, can now experience the dramatic saga of the
westward migration on the Oregon, Mormon, California, and Pony
Express trails. The exhibits examine daily life along the trails,
the native people who already lived in these places, and the social
and political events that induced pioneers to pursue their goals
via journeys of epic proportions.
