National Historic
Trails Center

The new 25,000 square foot National Historic Trails Center overlooking the Platte River, tells a story as big as the West. Visitors to Casper, Wyoming can now experience the dramatic saga of the Westward migration on the Oregon, Mormon, California and Pony Express trails. Our exhibits examine daily life along the trails, the Native People who already lived in these places, and the social and political events that induced people to pursue their goals via journeys of epic proportions.
