State Museum of
Natural Sciences
Habitats from conifer-topped mountains
to coral encrusted seas invite visitors to make their own scientific
discoveries. The museum's 58,000 square feet of immersive exhibits include
a three-story waterfall, conservatory, fossil hall, discovery
room, naturalist center, and an arthropod zoo. Designed to strengthen
state science education and environmental appreciation, exhibits
interpret natural science principles using live animals and the
museum's collection of specimens and artifacts.
