The entrance to each hiking path received a unique Trailhead giving visitors information on what features and flora and fauna they can find on their journey.
Important landmarks on the Ridges, such as Ohio University’s Observatory, were fitted with waysides calling attention to their importance.
A series of local “Species Panels” line either side of a newly created outdoor classroom. Wayfinding on the trails give hikers a clearly defined trek to follow.
