Entrance signage features larger-than-life iconic figures who were a part of the lumber industry. These line the road on the approach to the museum grounds.
A wall acknowledging donors features a variety of Pennsylvania woods and has room to add new names.
Important figures in the lumber industry are shown in life-size profiles, directly printed on wood laminates.
This interactive exhibit allows visitors to step aboard a lumber raft used to move heavy loads down river. Visitors can steer the raft and feel the shifting platform beneath them. Large photomurals of historic images line the exhibit area with historic tools, labels, and graphic panels integrated into the display.
Historic tools are housed in display cases, complimented by the natural textures of tree bark and tree rings. Interpretation is shared in reader rails, graphic panels, and flipbooks.
